Trump criticized Fox News on Truth Social on Tuesday night, blaming the network for Republican losses in the midterm elections. Democrats won control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives, flipping seats in Texas, South Carolina and Kansas, according to the report.

In one post, Trump said Fox "bears responsibility for these losses by constantly and consistently putting on the Dumocrat opposition." In another, he wrote that Fox ratings "are way down (27%!)" because the network spends too much time covering "Trump Deranged Dumocrats."

Fox News reported 1.1 million average viewers for October, down about 27% from the same month a year earlier. Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch cited "viewer fatigue" on the company's earnings call on Monday. He said viewers were not switching to competitors. MS NOW had 588,000 average viewers in October across all day parts, and CNN had 402,000, according to Nielsen data cited by Fox. Both networks reported double-digit gains in primetime viewership over the year-ago period.

Fox Corp. reported fiscal first-quarter revenue of $4.57 billion, up 22% year over year. Advertising revenue rose 47%, which the company attributed to political advertising and the FIFA Men's World Cup. Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
