Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings shares rose 13% Thursday after the company reported third-quarter earnings above expectations and raised its full-year outlook.

Revenue for the quarter reached $2.95 billion, above the $2.88 billion analyst estimate from LSEG. Net income was $491 million, or $1.07 per share. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization came in at $937 million, above the company's previous guidance of $874 million. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.12, compared with its guidance of 90 cents and analysts' expectations of 94 cents, according to LSEG.

Norwegian now expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $2.55 billion and adjusted EPS of about $1.70.

The company said bookings had "improved modestly" since its last report but remain below its optimal range. Norwegian plans to rely on a new marketing platform launching in January and on a new waterpark at its Great Stirrup Cay private island to support demand.

The company also said Chief Financial Officer Mark Kempa will step down after more than 25 years there. Meghan Montana, currently chief strategy officer, will take over as CFO on Jan. 1.
